Jim Porto is the director of Executive Programs in Health Policy and Administration (HPAA), School of Public health, UNC-Chapel Hill.
Jim designed the Community Prepared and Disaster Management Program, a 4-course certificate in disaster management. He has obtained approval for a 20-course Master of Science in Disaster Management, but is awaiting final word on start date.
Bill Gentry is the leading expert in disaster management at HPAA. He is the Director of the Community Preparedness and Disaster Management Program. Bill has extensive experience at the local, state, and federal levels in disaster management.
